Professional Players
Over the past five years the Chaos themselves have impressively seen four alumni join the professional ranks. The professional connection began in 2004 for the Chaos when University of Rio Grande alumni Steven Kehoe was invited to the 2004 MLS Combine becoming the only NAIA player invited that year. Following the combine Kehoe was signed by the Pittsburgh Riverhounds of the USL-2 before moving onto the Cincinnati Kings also of the USL-2. Following a knee injury that kept him out of the 2006 season Kehoe returned to his home country of Wales in 2007 to play for Llangefni Town of the Welsh Premier Division where he remains. West Virginia native and Virginia Tech alumni Chase Harrison followed Kehoe to the professional ranks when he became the first Chaos player to join an MLS team being selected in the 2006 MLS Supplemental Draft by Real Salt Lake, he then joined the Virginia Beach Mariners of the USL-1 on loan from Real Salt Lake, in 2007 he found his home with the Rochester Raging Rhinos of the USL-1 playing in 18 matches and earning USL-1 Player of the Week honors. Harrison resigned with the Rhinos where he remains this year. Nick Noble West Virginia University alumni became the first Chaos player selected in opening round of MLS Super Draft in 2007 when he was the Chicago Fire selection. In 2007 Noble made six appearances for the Fire reserve team and remains with the MLS team for 2008. The 2008 year was kicked off by the MLS Columbus Crew signing Marshall University alum Greg Terhune who was followed by 2006 Chaos player David Lilly going to the Carolina Railhawks of the USL-1 becoming the fourth and fifth Chaos players to earn professional contracts.
